I've installed X11 under FreeBSD operating systems using ports and rebooted the computer and I'm getting the following error:
acd0: FAILURE - unknown CMD (0x03) ILLEGAL REQUEST ASC=0x20 ascq = 0x00
How do I fix this problem?
You are getting error message because of your DVD/CD drive. You can run the following command to get rid of this problem
hal-disable-polling --device {/dev/CDDriveDeviceName}
If your CD drive name is acd0, enter:
hal-disable-polling --device /dev/acd0
