Looking for an installation manual for setting up and configuring the cluster suite. Have 16 node (1 master 15 compute) hardware set up. looking for HOW-TO installation of compute nodes. Using Scientific Linux cluster suite which is same as CentOS version. Thank you
Is clustering suite availability in Linux installation CDs ?
@Nishantha: Yes nishantha. But,
for RHEL you have to get the subscription to see it ‘clustering’ groupinstallation.
packages comes with the RHEL dvd or downloaded dvd. you can find all the rpms from thr. if you want to use yum to do a groupinstallation without having d subscription details then u have to create a repo with groupinstallation.
Cannot find Clustering on Centos 6
$ yum groupinfo “Clustering”
Loaded plugins: fastestmirror, presto
Setting up Group Process
Warning: Group Clustering does not exist.
@vtypal
yum install “High Availability”
yum install “High Availability Management”
