I'm trying to set 'thread_concurrency to 8 under Linux MySQL server. But when I try to restart the mysql server, I get the following error:
[ERROR] /usr/local/libexec/mysqld: unknown variable 'thread_concurrency=8'
How do I fix this problem?
This variable thread_concurrency is specific to Solaris UNIX systems only. Under Solaris mysqld server invokes the thr_setconcurrency() with the variable value. This function enables applications to give the threads system a hint about the desired number of threads that should be run at the same time. This variable was added in MySQL 3.23.7. This variable is ignored on Linux, FreeBSD and other UNIX like operating systems.
