Sometime when I logged on to my Gnome Linux desktop I noticed that windows decoration disappeared i.e. minimize / maximaize / close buttons and other decoration gone. How do I fix this annoying problem under Fedora / Mint / Debian / Ubuntu Linux gnome desktop?

I‘ve recently swiched from Ubuntu Linux to CentOS / RHEL version 6 gnome desktop. However, I’m unable to find the gpass the password manager for GNOME2 desktop in repo. How do I install the same under RHEL 6 or CentOS or Scientific Linux 6 or Fedora Linux 15?

Problem is that every time I click something I get annoying sound from computer speaker. So I tried to disable or set new sound theme by visiting System > Preferences > Sound. The Sound Theme tab is greyed out. Sound itself is not working and I can only get annoying sound. How do I fix this problem under Debian or Ubuntu Linux gnome desktop system?
