My router configured by ISP tech and it is set to get DNS server address automatically from upstream. Is there is a way to find out the IP address of the dns server used by my router which is located at 192.168.1.1? Is there Linux, Unix, Apple OS X, or MS-Windows command that I can use get the same information?

I setup a CentOS Linux based Linux server running as a gateway and firewall server. However, I’m getting the following messages in the /var/log/messages log file:
Dec 20 00:41:01 fw01 kernel: Neighbour table overflow.
Dec 20 00:41:01 fw01 last message repeated 20 times
OR
Dec 20 00:41:01 fw03 kernel: [ 8987.821184] Neighbour table overflow.
Dec 20 00:41:01 fw03 kernel: [ 8987.860465] printk: 100 messages suppressed.
Why does kernel throw “Neighbour table overflow” messages in syslog? How do I fix this problem under Debian / CentOS / RHEL / Fedora / Ubuntu Linux?

When I try to ping other UNIX / Linux / BSD or MS-Windows servers in our network I get the following message:
TTL Expired In Transit

Q. I’m using Gnome under Ubuntu Linux and my numeric keypad is disabled. Pressing numlock key does not work any more. I’m not able to use numbers or special symbols from numeric keypad. Reboot does not help or using different keyboard does not help. However, numlock only works if I switch to text console by pressing CTRL+ALT+F1. Now, I’m dam sure this is related to X.org or Gnome. How do I fix this problem?
