Just brought the 7th Harry Potter book (I went to store early morning). This is the seventh and last book in the series, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, was released on 21 July 2007.
Unfortunately I have to go to university today but will start reading it ASAP :(

Hermione gets whacked by Voldemort.

It’s a great book. keeps you on your toes to the very end.
harry marries ginny, he names his kids james, after his dad, lilly after his mom, and albus after his headmaster :)
and hagrid gets norbit back and then cho ends up being a necrophiliac and sleeps with cedric lol jk on that part but last comment was true

OMG, I had the same question as jantjuhh, posted 08-04-07. Where in the heck did the sword come from? I haven’t seen an answer. If you could shed some light on this, I’d appreciate it.

well, help will always given to anybody in the hogwarts, and i think neville has shown his greatest braveness confronted He who shall not be named, so the sword of griffindor was come to him, same as what happened to harry when he fought the basilisk!
I am sure that the selection hat is still being used, maybe it has fixed by the teachers or it can fixed itself. You can see that Harry said to his son Albus, that he can put forward his choises to the hat about which house he would like to go on the last chapter.
the book was great! Wish Rowling had spend a few more pgs on the 19 year leap chapter. I would have liked to know what Harry did for earning a living, for instance.
