Typing commands in a ssh session sometimes takes time to see
the result. When you see a mistake, some shortcuts can help you
edit that easily. These are some Keyboard shortcuts in shell
and vi editor. Some of you may find this useful. [ Experienced
users, juz ignore :-) ]
Shell
====
ctrl-a Move to beginning of line
ctrl-e Move to end of line
ctrl-k Erase the rest of line from the position of cursor
ctrl-l Clear screen
ctrl-r Incremental search backwards
ctrl-u Erase entire line
alt -d Delete the word following the cursor ( dot works as
delimitter )
alt-b move back word by word
alt-f move forward word by word

Hi All,

Typing commands in a ssh session sometimes takes time to see<br
