I upgraded from Fedora 7 to Fedora 9 and I’m not satisfied. Ok, I had many apps installed from tarball and I can understand that those apps were not marked for upgrade, but I still don’t understand why firefox3 can’t be executed (xorg server error).
I HATE those windoze effetcs like those enlarging icons when the mouse passes over them, leave me a solid, performing system to do what I want, reserve CPU for ME.
I’ll go back to Fedora 8, and even to Fedora 7 if it will be the case.

ok, so far Fedora 7 has been the winner for me as well. . 8 wouldn’t install everything, and 9, well.. I think 7 is where I am once again staying.
