I am a user of microsoft products. I have dabbled with linux software as linspire and redhat. I find the manual way of configuring a system so drivers will make all peripherals work is tedious and time consuming. For example, I installed the 64 bit version of xp but out of the gate the internet card would not work. Compiling linux products served to get my hands “greasy”.
So, I will try the ubuntu 64 bit to see if my computer will be a little bit more crisper in performance provided all the peripherals will work with little maintenance by me.

Rasik, Use GUI program such as K3B or command lines tools: a) DVD Writing How to (growisofs command) b) CD Writing How to (cdrecord command) Good luck!

I have only Fedora 7 installed on my desktop. Can someone please suggest how I can burn Ubuntu Linux Gutsy Gibbon 7.10 iso software downloaded from internet, into bootable CD? Thanks. Rasik.
