This page is an attempt to track ongoing developments in the Linux development community that have a good chance of appearing in a mainline kernel and/or major distros sometime in the near future.
This is an interesting way to track down upcoming changes, technology in Linux and related project such as KDE or security patches. You can use a feed reader to subscribe to the feed of forecast updates.
