The motto of this site is learn with pictures, not words:
In Pictures tutorials began as part of a research study we conducted for the U.S. Department of Education. The goal: to make it easier for people with learning disabilities to learn computer subjects.
As part of the study, we created simple, illustration-based tutorials. Everyone who tested them--not just people with learning disabilities--said the new tutorials enabled them to learn faster and easier than conventional text-heavy books.
The site offers tutorials on common Linux web programming subject:
=> PHP
=> Perl
=> MySQL
Great work! (Thanks to E@zyVG for a hat tip)

I am a dummy working for juasun that is rural internet company, I know networking as I worked as an apprentice for 6 years now, I was always longing for programming skills for all these years, today I found your info as a heal, its easy to read and follow the picture demo, the only thing I long for is if its compatible with windows, futher more I need to be a serious linux programmer, prior to this I was teaching myself SQL and MYSQL from http://www.functionx.com the exlanations there are long and a little confusing, with you am sure I can find a solution, the only problem I facd is; with all procedures I followed on an ubuntu pc, it denied an access to mysql, what could be a reason for that? it gave a message error that access denied, I started as root super user, then exiting and do the mysql -u root mysql after checking the MSQL i found there is version 5 and the demo u gave is for version 4. I need to be totally tech guy, and serious programmer,
