South Korea to get 1 gigabit per second (Gbps) internet connection

This is a new stunning development. If you think your 1/5Mbps is the fastest connection available .. think again!

South Korea, the world's most wired nation, continues to push the envelope on the speed of the broadband Internet and looks set to make 1 gigabit per second (Gbps) a commercial possibility. Usually only 16 customers can subscribe to 1Gbps services on a single optical fiber line but with new technology developed by Electronics and Telecommunications Research Institute (ETRI), SK, 512 users can share single a single optical fiber line :D

So if you want fast connection move to South Korea
