How to: Install and Run Microsoft Office 2003 on Linux desktop

A long time ago I converted my friend from Windows XP to Linux. However, sometime he needs to run MS-Word or PowerPoint due to compatibility issue with OO. So he begged asked me if I could assist him installing Office 2003 on Linux using Wine.

After some research I came across Tom Wickline’s blog post about installing the same. He has provided an excellent step-by-step guide on office 2003 issues and running Wndows apps under Linux:
