Finally, good news for all Ubuntu fan boys and commercial enterprises who wish to try out Ubuntu on x86 servers :)
Sun Microsystems and Canonical have nearly completed work to certify that the Ubuntu version of Linux runs smoothly on Sun's x86 servers, sources familiar with the situation said.
This means that enterprises will now be able to run Ubuntu on Sun's x64-based systems with the confidence of five-year support provided by Canonical.
