Jeff Atwood has posted a nice table of various licenses. There are lots of licenses exists. And what, exactly, are the differences between all these licenses? How do you select the correct license for your software? Author has attempted to succinctly capture the key differences between the most well-known software licenses in the following handy chart:

=> LGPL License

=> MIT/X11 license

=> BSD License

=> Apache License

=> Eclipse Public License

=> Mozilla Public License

=> MS Permissive License

=> MS Reference License
