To Install gnome-tweak-tool on Ubuntu Linux type the following apt command/apt-get command:

Install downloaded themes in ~/.themes directory:
$ mkdir ~/.themes/
Extract and copy folder to ~/.themes/ directory. Once done, start the tool by typing the following command to change the theme:
$ gnome-tweak-tool &
