NTFS-3G is an open source implementation of Microsoft’s NTFS file system.

Install NTFS-3g

Type the following command:

sudo apt-get install ntfs-3g

Sample outputs:

Usage

The syntax is as follows to mount your NTFS partitions on a Linux:

ntfs-3g /dev/DEVICE /mount/point
