To see information about LVM physical volumes, type any one of the following command as root user:
$ sudo pvs
Sample outputs:

  PV         VG              Fmt  Attr PSize  PFree 
  /dev/vda5  ubuntu-box-1-vg lvm2 a--  39.52g 36.00m

OR
$ sudo pvdisplay
Sample outputs:
