  1. How can I upgrade to 9.04 by using CD / DVD instead of from internet repositories?

  2. make sure that u have the alternate cd or dvd[the first disc]
    insert your cd/dvd on the rom
    $ sudo apt-cdrom add
    $ sudo apt-get update
    [check the configuration make sure it hit the repos]
    open the synaptic-package-manager then follow the command above
    Visit System > Administration > Update Manager
