Firefox touches 2 million downloads in 24 hours

Wow!

Thanks to great publicity by main stream media, bloggers around the world and powerful news site such as digg, Slashdot – Firefox v2.0 downloads touches 2 million in 24 hours.

So Firefox is well on track to beat IE7’s three million in four days 😉

Seriously, though, this is amazing. 30 downloads per second is just mind-blowing. We’re still crunching the numbers and we hope to have some more stats for you all on Monday or Tuesday so stay tuned!
